Hi, I live in Central Jersey and I havent found much luck in finding any TTs, I found a gorgeous NA and its great and all but I love the feeling of the turbos in a friends car. So two things #1.) should I pick up this NA and #2.) I have heard alot of things about conversion to TT, how much money and effort are we talking to make this NA a TT?

ty in advance

look around, this is a very popular topic (search button is your frined) basic rule, youre gonna need to buy a front cut, check prices, and if you're not sure if you can handle the labor, you will need help or someone else to do ti

Big project to do a swap, my advice get a TT, go out of state, order one from a dealer and ship it.

If you have a taste for turbos, don't go NA, its a bad decision

East Coast Zs are there, just a little hidden I have seen. Try northeastern Zs, they go cheap because they are usually hard to sell to the rest of the US.

I have been searching, but I hadn't found much on the NA's, ok heres my choice...I have about 5 grand. My choice is the 90 NA or the 86 Turbo, both in great condition and I have no idea whats better to have. From what i hear the 90 is more body mods and stuff like that, and the 86 Turbo has alot of options for engine upgrades. Any ideas?

try searching for TT Swap, anyway, the 86's seem to have plateuaed in orice so your likely to hold more value with the Z31, the Z32 is a completely differetn car, it's a grant touring car, the Z31 is more period correct sports car, the Z31 is cheaper and easier to work on, I've owned a Z31 and at present own a Z32 TT, if I had to take one on a road trip I'd take the Z32, if I were going to buidl a race car, my choice would depend on budget, the Z32 is more sophisticated but with 2 turbo's and 2 intercoolers, everything costs twice as much and takes twice as much time, I've actually considered buying a cheap Z32 N/A (I've seen a few at auction for well under 2K) and stripping it to nothing and fabbing up a single turbo setup with megasquirt, so it depends on taste and goals

New York has a TON of 300zxs from my experience, check autotrader if you just want an NA
