it all started a few days ago....

(12/5/13) car was running and driving fine

(12/6/13) went out to start my car but battery was completely dead
jumped my car off and went on my way assuming I may have left my lights on or something silly

drove it around fine all day with numerous stops

(12/7/13) went out to start my car dead AGAIN???

so I took it to advance auto parts my closest parts store and also former work place and ran a battery test

results of test = good battery just needed a charge so I charged it put it in my car and went on my way

(12/8/13) same s*** :icon_hang:
replaced my alternator for the hell of it
charged my battery went on my way

(12/9/13) I got smart and ran a parasitic drain test for the battery but it came back perfect

at this point im thinking what the hell

(12/10/13) bought a new battery and new terminals put them on started it up and immediately noticed I was running of 5cyl

drove it home and started toying with it started unplugging coil packs while it was running and looking for idle change very first one I unplugged no change in idle replaced the coil pack and tried it again still missing

I haven't been out there to see if my car will start today with the new battery but has ANYONE ever had this prob and or know what could be going on

side note when I pulled up last night it smelt like gas so I have a few working injectors laying around that im gonna toss in the cyl that I replaced the coil pack

Replace the injector then get back to us. My guess is the injector just took a crap especially since you smelt fuel.

Yep; 1 - Your battery was dead. You should be in the green now.
2 - The dropped cylinder is just a coincidence. You already figured out which cylinder it is.
Pull the spark plug out, put the spark plug into the coilpack, and lay the spark plug threads against the plenum.
Pop the fuel pump relay (by clutch pedal) or fuel pump fuse (by battery) out. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLuw65cUEa8]
Have a friend turn over the engine and watch that spark plug to verify spark.
While the spark plug is out, compression test that cylinder.
Good spark, Good compression = Bad fuel.
Check the injector connection for corrosion and clean accordingly.
Ohm test 10~14ohm.
If failed, replace the injector. (I suggest always pulling the plenum to check the valve cover seals and other hoses, doing a coolant bypass if it was never performed, etc.)
Welcome to Nico!

All right so car started fine today

Put it in my garage and started working was going to replace the injector on cyl 6 but the injector head screws stripped ended up having to just drop my spare fuel rail in with 6 diff injectors

Put everything back together and I'm still running off 5 cylinders but this time the cylinder in question is number 2 I'm not 100% sure all injectors were working on that fuel rail (remembered this after I put everything back together)

So plan for tomorrow is switch injector 2 with an injector off my other fuel rail and put it all back together

I'll keep Yall posted

Fyi all injectors were between 11 and 12 ohms and coils were all fine

How are the connecters? Old style or new style PTU?

I really suggest the use of a impact driver for the injector screws and switching them out for hex head bolts.
