Hey i just hooked up a rockford t4004 amp in my car with Rockford wires and I'm getting engine noise in my speakers. Tried running rcas a different way didn't help, tried a different ground, didn't help, bought a ground loop isolator from radioshack and it got rid of the noise, but also made the voices low so all i heard was the beat, tried a different isolator from a car audio shop and i had no sound. I'm at my wits end with this its really pissing me off.

your best bet will be to ground the outside casing of your RCA's to the heatsink of the head unit
