Get a full cat-back exhaust, reflashed ECU, JWT intake. That'd be a nice start. Good luck with it.

^ yep, that's where I'd start

Then do some suspension work (sway bars, coilovers, strut bars, etc)

The things that I would want to know concerning that JDM motor is:

1: How many miles are on the motor?2: Was a timing belt change performed and if so, when?3: How many actual miles are on the turbos and injectors? Will they need to be replaced soon?4: Is it using a stock JDM ECU or was it re-flashed for the US market. The reason I ask this is because JDM ECUs require a lot higher grade of octane than what the general US gas stations sell. If you run 92 octane in a car with programmed ECU calling for 94 grade, eventually it will not be good for the engine. 5: What shape is the cooling system in? Is the radiator gunked up?

I purchased a JDM motor for my z when I did the Na to TT swap and these are the first things that I addressed right away to ensure that I would not have to pull the motor soon after install do to something breaking that I could have fixed before installing the engine.Just my 2 cents anyway.
