A noid light will tell you if you have an injector pulse from the ecm. You can pick a little set up from the local auto store. Very easy to use. Plug into injector harness at injector and have a friend crank the car over and see if the light blinks. You could also try spraying carb. cleaner or starter fluid into the intake via a direct vacuum source while having a friend crank the engine over. If the thing starts, then your not getting fuel or your not getting combustable fuel. And thats also not to say that the plugs arent fouled out on bad gas. if thats the case then this test is worthless. checking for spark can be very dangerous. I like to pull a plug wire, take a known good spark plug, put it in the plug wire and drape it across a grounded portion of the engine (which should be almost anywhere) and have a buddy crank the eng. over, then look to see a spark. !!!stand clear of the spark!!! most def if you have msd!!! also !!!gas vapors are combustable...so be carefull!!! spraying starter fluid everywhere and then checking for spark can be very bad.... sorry for typing a novel for only a couple of checks but this is a decent begining to diaging a "no start"....haha not a no crank..... if the car wont crank over then this is wasted kb's.... goodluck
