1990 240sx: Sunroof drainage tube placement.

I'm trying to figure out the proper placement of the drainage tube that links to the drain hole in the sunroof room of my 240sx.

With the rear passenger side panels off, the tube extends down from the sunroof and towards the back of the car. The end currently rests in a large (2 inch diameter) hole at the rear, just behind the fold down seat. That would seemingly mean any rain water would drain to a place near the rear of the car that appears to be below the speaker, or above the back of the wheel well.

Is this where this is supposed to drain or am I missing something?
