When ever I step on the brake, i hear a ssssssssshhhhhhhhh noise coming from my pedal area. It also shakes and shimmys when I press on the brakes sitting at a stop light. I have been told I could a vacuum leak in the brake lines or booster. I have looked but not been able to find anything wrong. Does any one know what it could be and tell me how to fix it?

sounds like theres air in your master cylinder does the clutch do it too? I have air in mine but all it does is mess with my pressure making it feel like I have little to no clutch. to find out have someone look at your brake fluid to see if it bubbles when your on the clutch/brake

It doesnt happen when I step on the clutch. I have a stage 3 clutch and carbon flywheel. Its awesome. Shifts pretty sweet. Pressure is good. Brakes feel really hard to push down though. If someone slammed on their brakes in front of me, I would literally have to stand on my pedal.

You need a new brake booster, or your getting really bad vacuum to the booster
