1990 240SX Shift Knob Stuck

noob question i know, but not even my brother who has owned 4+ s13's could figure out how to get this thing off. is it attached from a bolt or just really tight on there? its a stock s13 been sitting for 10+ years

It will come off. I had one of my cars where I had to use vice grips to remove it. (I wrapped a towel around the shift knob so that it wouldn't get damaged) Be careful if you try it that way.

Same. Mine was a thunder **** to remove. Think I had to use 2 people and 2 sets of vise grips on it.
In contrast, my Miata's used to just slip off from time to time.
