This past week I removed my spark plugs just to see how they looked since I installed them 3 months ago and have been running my motor sorta hard (lots of civic butt kickings ). They all looked prefectly fine, which did suprise me. There was a little oil faulting but nothing to worry about (which surpised me. must be the new oil, mobil1 5w30 full synth...I have a 220xxx mile block, not rebuilt).

I had the car running the day before and it was fine. After I put my spark plugs back in, I started it. Idled super rough for a moment or two then quit. Did it again. I tried it 3-4 more times and nothing. The next day i took the plugs back out, they were very dry faulted and wet with gas. I cleaned them and reinstalled. They are back in the right way for sure.

I tried running it again, nothing but the same old rough idle. What it is doing on the dot is: Tach jumps quickly from 100rpms - 1500rpms. Sounds like its missing. Over the matter of 30seconds it tends to stall out/die because I guess the tach just dips too low and it loses it. I am getting exhaust, it seems to be clear to black, but not diesel like. If I press the gas pedal at all, ever it = insta-die... Its just so random how it did that. I know if I would have ran my motor before taking my plugs out, the same would have happened.

Any ideas at all? I can give more info on modifications done to the motor or anything if needed. This is an slushbox KA24E , basically I/H/E, coil, e-fan and few other goodies.

Sounds like something isnt causing the plugs to fire... I dont know maybe you messed your plug wires up by messing with them... id verify that first...
