Yeah...you've got to be careful who you buy from sometimes, especially ebay new comers with hardly any positive feedbacks.

Anyone else with some links, tips, advice?

you're probably going to have to make some custom brackets to fit the universal sliders or else buy those brackets you linked and if they dont fit, do some modifying to make em fit. You really aren't going to have an easy straight forward time with this, which is why most people purchase s14 and s15 seats that will bolt in.

If you want, corbeau makes bracket/slider combo's that you might be able to use. You might have to redrill some holes to get it to line up, but the bracket's and sliders would fit and be good quality.
