I have searched all over and tried multiple things to no avail. Here is the problem. I installed a Crane cams ignition and the car ran fine, but the ignition unit ticked and was in the cabin, so I removed it and hooked everything back up originally, and now the car stuggle sto start, and when it starts it will dye out if I don't hold the gas in, once it warms up it idles around 2000-2500 rpms. The weird thing is if I am cruising (car is moving at over 30 mph) with the clutch in it idles at arounf 650-700 but when the car stops moving the idle raises back up. I have checked the Tps it is fine, I replaced the Water temp sensor ( only code that my ECU has thrown), I cleaned out the air regulator( It's not stuck open), checked for vacuume leak (none), I even checked the alternator and it is fine. If i remove the MAF connector car will not go past 3000 RPMS which I beleive means it's okay. Is ther any way to test the MAF. I searched but couldn't find it. Thanks everybody for your help.

I had the same problem but the RPM's would only go to about 1500 when I came to a stop. I was getting tons of replys about the car moving is not the same as it is stopped and it seemed like nobody understood what I was talking about driving in netural or with clutch pushed in it was fine. You said you checked your TPS but did you run both tests on the voltage? I could not check the low voltage test because I did not have a digital meter and the small values would not show up on my tiny analog scale so I just started to move the TPS with the engine running and when I hit a spot I would hear a tap and then the RPM's went up to 1750 so I just moved it back to the left and they would drop down to 750. It looks like it is on wrong because it is turned all the way to the left but now my idle is perfect. Hope this helps

I ran the car for a while this weekend. The Idle has improved. Now when I start the car it wan'ts to die out, but after a little time of warming up it idles around 650 but idles all over the place but averages 650. I'm gonna try and reset the idle and see what happens.
