Hi, I just joined the club and have had my 240 for 2 years, it only ran for 10 days after I got it. I have had it to 3 shops costing $$$$ and still will not run!I have replaced the MAF, engine bay wiring harness, coil, power transformer, rebuilt ECU, knock senser, TPS, checked cam timing and compression, replaced the distributer. All fuses good and good grounds.

I have done more testing and found I only have 1.75 volts to the distributer,MAF and the MAF heater. I am replacing the ECM from a good doner car and will try another test.

This is really frustrating and I am asking for some HELP please.

Has anyone run the leads that power the EEC and coil? You have good fuel delivery? No spark at any plug? Have you checked the wires, cap, rotor and coil?

Thanks for the reply,

I found there is only 1.75 volts to the ign module in the dist. The MAF has the same 1.75 volts also, so am chanding the ECM to a known good unit

I'm stll working on this problem.the sprak plugs, cap and dist are new

Well back at it again. I aquired a good ECM and now have spark

Car will start and idle but still get code 12 MAF not working. Replaced MAF but still no throttle.

Question for anyone can the MAF be tested somehow and is the air heater important, if so that is the voltage to it?

Will get pictures soon
