Well no, it isn't welded. But it damn might as well be. I can't get it to budge.

Thank God I tried that one first before the drain plug which looks to be easy to take out. The fill plug loks like its fused on.

I have it soaked in Release All and still no give. Anyone have any tips or tricks? I've tried getting on the side of the car and pushing on the rachet with my feet and everything.

Huge impact gun or large breaker bar.

the 1/2 inch rachet is not quite the right size. Like, it does work for not-so-seized plugs but it seems like I might round out that plug.

FTW= for the win... that's not nissan talk, that's just internet forum talk...

i second the looong handle breaker bar or the floor jack w/ the breaker bar trick (i had success w/ a breaker bar w/ a longer cheater bar on it)

i dunno the properties of that penetrating oil; is it comparable to PB Blaster?

did you also heat-cycle by putting it into gear and running it so the penetrating oil can work it's way into the threads?
