1990 240sx HID

Hey can anyone tell me what bulbs the 1990 240sx comes stock with? I'm trying to convert to a purple colored HID headlight and I need to know what kind of bulb to order. Thanks

H4 and if your stock headlights were like mine youre going to need to buy the h4 headlamps too

6054 are sealed beams, our cars came with the older style units where you changed the entire light. lens and all you can get different conversion kits on ebay so that you can use more modern bulbs like the h4

i didn't get that setup, my ebay kit was like 40 bucks, bright as hell to.Left side old lens->Right side new lensThey even had a spot for an led bulb in the bottom of the lens, sorta dopey but hey

The correct way to do it is retrofit REAL projectors into the housings. However this is costly and requires some work. There are some write ups floating around for pop-up lights.

The crap on ebay are bright, but blind everyone. They aren't a true HID kit with cutoff.
