1990 240sx electrical problems, headlights, dashlights, taillights, wipers

first it started that my windshield wipers would just come on out of nowhere, when i first cranked it, when i turned the wheel a certain way, when i turned the headlights on, etc. then my headlights wouldnt go down. then my dash lights stopped working, and so did my tail lights. my break lights, turn signals, and headlights still come on. just all that other stuff kinda freaked out. does anyone know why i would be havin all these problems? i already checked the wires in the drivers fender and ive looked at other posts and i cant figure it out.. and that stupid search thing wont bring anything up. haha. but any advice is greatly appreciated.

try looking at the steering column. everything u listed, headlights, wipers, brake lights (sorta); the switches are all in the steering column and not to mention u said when u turn the wheel it starts acting up. i would start looking at switches and then wires to see if someone didnt pinch them while messing round, like putting in a turbo timer or something.

ill check all that, but everything in this car is bone stock. i think they guy said he did hace a ka24de in it and thats when it started actin up, and his was turbod out so i dunno if he mightve had something on there then, i havent messed with anything to much.
