I've come across two issues of late...

First, my headlights are no longer retracting open automatically upon turning on my lights. I have to manually push the designated button to open the retractable headlights. This started after I had my car painted. Normally, I just would turn on the lights and the lights would retract open as stated in the manual. Perhaps something is wired incorrectly? Or fuse that I'm not aware of?

Second,. My A/C button controls that determine where the air comes out (head, foot, head&foot) don't appear to work. It's stuck at foot level. The A/C air is cooling properly and blower works fine at all levels. In addition, The air recirculate button appears to work and I hear it doing something, but when I press a button for head, foot, or head & foot, it does nothing.

I'm a novice so any detailed info and/or links to images would be appreciated.

Thanks

For the vent control, check the fuses in the driver side kickpanel fuse box.

For the headlights, check the relays in the boxes under both front corners of the hood. I'm not sure which ones exactly, and there are several. One of them may have come loose, though it could also have gone bad.

First read the thread in the sticky at the top of this forum for pop up head lights.

On your second issue check the connection at the mode door actuator. See if its connected. If you back probe the connection when its plugged into the actuator you should see voltage applies when pushing the control button. one wire would be power one wire would be ground and the other wire is the signal to tell the control unit the door has reached the desired position. This also may be a fuse issue so check all fuses.
