hey i have a 1990 240sx got it a few months ago and now that i have it smogged im starting to drive it!! hurray !! but the gas, tach and speed gauges aren't functioning at all. the emergency fuel light comes on and clock is working. i checked the cable to the trans its still conected and lights in the cluster go on. my guess is the fuse or a wire (which one and where i do not know). im planning on getting a fsm but dont have one yet if u could help me id really appreciate it!!!!!! :help :help thanks for your help!!! :thinker

i dont have one in my posetion here at home I can look tomorrow at work. try to temp fix it for now see if it resolves your prob. since it is analog I would say you have a prob with the meter fuse. it should be labeled on the cover as such.

when i was looking at the wire to the from the #2 socket the coating (plastic i think was all disformed) perhaps the fuse didn't work or something and the cluster got fried. but befor i go and spend money what can i use to send power to the cluser?? my friend said to use a inline fuse holder?? but what should i use as my power source down there? and thanks again
