1990 240sx Car cuts out in 4th gear at 3600 rpm?

I have 1990 nissan 240sx Manual with catback exhaust and a Modified Cold air Intake this is a Ka24e engine.When I'm at full throttle it drives fine in all the gears except 4th and 5th , could someone tell me what is going on with it.

this is probably a problem with your 4th and 5th gear sensors or circuits. the sensors are supposed to cut the engine at 5000 or so in 4th and something a little lower in 5th. or it may be 5000 in 5th and something higher in 4th. shoot, i cant remember as my 240 has an sr so i dont have either one. just get under the transmission and check that everything is plugged up. i would give you a picture of which is which but i have no fsm on the computer for the sohc cars.
