1990 240sx belt screeching and differential questions

1. i'm having trouble looking for a new differential because mine is rattling and leaking oil so i need one ASAP is there any place or anyone could recommend im in the socal area so anyone around that area that knows a place or anybody that would really help me out, thanx.2. i just recently changed my belts because there was a loud screeching noise when i start the car but it still makes the noise when i give it some gas and if i dont gas it it will die out, im thinking i might need a new alternator or starter but im not entirely sure let me know what you guys think

number 1, junkyard or order one? or maybe even the NICO classifieds number 2, i had the same problem, so my friend brought his over and i felt his belts and mine just happened to be too lose try tightening one at a time and see which one it is but not TOO TIGHT! u should be able to push it down about a half an inch to an inch, more towards the half inch though x) (correct me if im wrong) hope this helps!!! i know how the screeching belt thing is like really embarassing

well actually according to the Chilton's repair manual the power steering and alternator belts should move about 1/5-1/4in. don't recall on the a/c cause i don't have any lol but i can look it up if you want.

the first thing i thot was jus tightening it and if it still makes noise after u swapped them out they have this spray to get rid of it.

the screetching of the belt is the altanator belt. mine did it untill i tightend it, as far as the differential there is a place out in Santee, CA that has some good ones, ive got a 4.4:1 vlsd that i baught shipped for 365 and ilive in oklahoma so im sure they would cut you a deal driving there, but they have 5 and 6 bolt patterns vlsd id say hit them up http://neotechimports.com/top.html check out the site
