1990 240 sx digital speedo not working

well my digital speedo dont work is there anything you think i should do before spending a bunch of money, and my headlight motor only goes down weve tested and the motor works on the other side same goes for relay is there a 2nd relay i dont know about please help!!!!

Welcom to NICO and all that like everyone else is going to tell you. On your speedometer problem, if you are know what you're doing, or just feel confident enough that you do, you can take apart the dash and check your speedometer cable. Otherwise, or if that doesn't solve the problem, bring it into the shop.

dosnt have a cable its digital soo im kinda stuck and dont want to pay 187 .00 to get it fixed

does anybody know if a non digital speedo will replace the digital if so i would probly just go that way or if any one knows were i can get a speedo in a pod so i can strap it to my dash ahhhhhhhhhh somone please help

hey man I think we have the same problem my digital speedometer doesnt work and I've been trying to figure out how to fix it but no luck so now Im thinking of changing the digital cluster to a non-digital cluster but now im just waiting to see if anyone has done this before.

well after looking futher into posts in here ive seen a couple pepole do it the fit but then somthing about the cable they get stumped with and i might be able to fix the dig one could be the diodes on the back of cluster or the capastor or whatever i just havent had the time to tear into my dash butt ill let ya know hmm what year is yours and were ya from

no luck their i couldnt wait forever my only car so i went to feltons in snohimish county and got the whole cluster working for 200$ yeah i know i paid but cant go without a car and the hud still works woohoo and yes even thought mine an auto its still fast now i wanna trick it out

Sorry to hear about your cluster problem, next time buy the speedometer module from Nissan brand new....it will be cheaper an is brand new.....is too late now, but a careful search will save you money, plenty of good info in these forums...
