I will look at that module behind my lights next time I am in there- I do not have DRL, so I am puzzled as to exactly what it is- I thought it said headlamp sensor on it, but maybe not,its been awhile since I have seen it.
My worry is about the wires (Harness) being able to handle the higher wattage bulbs.
And that module behind the headlights has me puzzled as well. But if its OEM it will have part number on it which will help identify it.

I don't see anything particularly scary in the pictures, but that's not really the test...

I plan on trying it out but I am trying to solve the problem where the interior lights dim when the brake pedal is pressed for the first time when the ignition is on or if the car is running. And like I said after two times that the brake pedal is pressed the interior and exterior lights no longer dim. The "Stop lights inoperative" message has appears randomly sometimes but then goes away while driving.
Alternator and battery is fine and I have load tested the battery and checked the alternator as much as possible except for the ripple test.
So things to check on my list are Tail lamp sensor which was said to be good when I took pictures of the circuit board and posted them a while ago. And of course the headlamp relay.
