1990-1991 front bumpers

Hi,

I've tried searching for this info, on this site and on the web (so don't attack me,) but I haven't been able to find exactly what I am looking for. I would like to know if anyone knows if the front bumper cover from a 91 or later will fit directly (bolt on) on to a 90. I have a 90 hatchback with the notched front bumper and I would like to put the rounded front bumper from the later s13s on. From what I am able to find they both have the same front reinforcement but different bumper absorbers. They appear to fit the same, with the same placement of the headlights and match to the fenders.

you can try a couple places. Although I'm not sure if any of them sell OEM parts or if they're just knockoffs that you might have to do some body work on to get it to fit properly.

oh yeah. they should fit. the support should be the same, for sure you'll need a new energy foam, but the cover looks different, but they'll mount the same.

I have done this for my 90 240sx fb be sure to get the lower front bumber pieces or else the sides of the bumper will be of my about an inch and a half.

lok is referring to the extra trim piece that covers the lower-front corner of the fender.

The '91 uses it; the '90 does not.

It has the very subtle effect of making the fender "thicker".

Where exactly does this piece go? I'm looking over some pictures and I'm not exactly seeing it. Does it make the fender extend lower? Does it mount on top of the fender, or go below it?

Chrispy, thanks! Anyone know where I can get these pieces? I haven't been able to find them online at any body part sellers. Is this something I'm going to have to get off another car?
