I tried search and didn't find anything definitive.

My plans are as follows:

5 lug conversion17"X7" front wheels with 205/45 tires17"X7.5" rear wheels with 235/40 tires

This will be for auto-x, track, driving usage - but eventually converted to at a minimum a comp licensing car.

My question is which offsets will fit these wheels and tires under the car well. Not looking for the "magic" number but kinda a range of 2-3 offset that will work.

Can I pretty much count on any 17" wheels that are listed on TireRack for say a '95 SE to be the right fit?

Thinking mostly along the lines of SSR.

I will also take other praise and criticism of the direction I am thinking about.

Hmm, no thoughts? To add to the inquiry - with these proposed sizes would there be any limitations on coil-over selection?
