manual z24i throttle body injection

when I push the clutch in at 3rd gear or higher while driving (like to stop) the revs drop to 0. It starts right back up and the motor runs great when I m moving
Any ideas? Thanks

Does it bog and die or just up and dies? Your foot is off or on the gas pedal when this happens?

I'm thinking of like the ignition control unit, distributor, coils, or a relay maybe.
