1989 RB????

Hey guys, my friend is buying a 1989 240 for like 300 $$$. is the procedure for swapping an RB26 the same in an 89 the same as the 91?

btw, who is the crackhead selling their 240 for 300$? I'd be hesitant to put an expensive engine into that.. it's probably salvaged.

the only differance is going to be that he will have to get the dohc p/s lines (91-94 lines).

there is something wrong with that car. even just a shel should go for 700 minimum. i would put money on a cracked frame

I bought a 240 for $400 and it turned out to be the biggest piece of sh*t. Trunk rusted through. Rust everywhere where you wouldnt see.

Must have been sunk in a lake or something.

I would tell him to be careful about that.
