I have a 1989 Pathfinder 4WD 3.0 V6 that I have taken very good care of. But something is happening and I don't know if its an actual problem or an annoyance.

Whenever I turn sharply while braking hard the brake light comes on in the dash board. I've tried just braking hard and turning real fast by themselves, but the light only comes on when I do both at the same time. And this is in 2WD, I haven't been in a position to test this while in 4WD. I just replaced the suspension on the front end, and the brakes looked fine while I had everything torn down.

It handles normally and the ride is as smooth as it has always been. I just want to know if something is actually wrong before I take it to a shop to be looked at.

$100 says you're a little low on brake fluid. Whenever you turn while braking, the fluid goes into one corner of the reservoir, just enough for the sensor to feel that there's not enough brake fluid. Let me know if i'm right!

A simple solution to an apparently simple problem. Thanks for the help.

Yes. It is just below the halfway between the minimum and the maximum.

Wellllllll.... looks like you owe the man 100 bucks -- trust me, you'll want to pay. He came to my house, and disrespected my famiry and then broke my legs.

Welcome to NICO!!
