Just throw some rubber mats over the metal floor. Oh, and pull that headliner out too. Bare bones baby!

When I test drove my truck in '07 the seat was ripped, then the dealer had it reupholstered and charged me an extra 300 dollars. It looks nice though. The plus about this bench seat is that I can lay across it and take a nap if I want to. The reason I took the carpet and headliner out was that it stunk like BO from the previous owner or something. I couldn't have that anymore. Now its better, and about 15 lbs lighter. I have this obsession with removing extra weight. When I first bought it, it weighed 3550 lbs, and now its down to 3400 without me in it. Many little things collectively account for the weight reduction. The smaller tires are probably part of that, but I miss my 31x10.5 sometimes. I'll probably get another vehicle someday and just use my truck as a toy and park it most of the time.

JC Whitney has replacement carpet for most vehicles and they are as reasonable as any. Try to google floor carpet for trucks and try local junkyards. NEWER harbody carpet should fit as truck cab is basically the same, newer one may have good carpet cheap along with other used parts you need. I have found many great parts for interior at a fraction of the new cost and many look almost new. You have to hunt for a while but good deals can be had.

If you can get a copy of your keys made that may be all that you need. My truck came with several keys, and one of them that was extremely worn would fall out.

In terms of the plugs - Nissan engines really, really like their OEM plugs. Bosch plugs in particular seem to cause a lot of problems. I would go with the NGK plug that is designed for your engine if it was me...

If you can find bucket seats out of a '95 or earlier Pathfinder, and a center console from a 97 (maybe 99?) or earlier truck, that seems to be a good way to go for replacing the bench seat.

Good luck!

Heath

grab some carpet and make your own, the pickup doesn't have much to work around.
