1989 nissan alternator upgrade options

Greetings,
I'm looking to upgrade the alternator on my 1989 Nissan D-21 2.4L pickup. Are there any direct bolt-ons that would put out more amps? Perhaps out of a Pathfinder? or a v-6.

I have been looking for the same thing and can't find many options.I've seen a Quest alternator mod but looks like it was for the v6, can not confirm thez24 application. I can not find a good option anywhere. Help from the experts
is needed, not looking to spend $300 + for an alternator on a 24 year old truck.

Well...heck, in that case I'll see if I can adapt a GM CS-144 in there.....oughta be fun. I just started looking, but if you've been looking for a while then I'll just do something else.
