I got my car back from the body shop after repair to both front fenders. They did pretty slipshod work in that both left and right sidemarkers are totally loose, in fact the drivers side has to be replaced.I did in fact get the work done very cheaply (you get what you pay for) and I think I might try to fix it myself. My question is: How do they attach to the fender? Do they just snap in or is it some kind of gasket with adhesive that attaches it. There don't appear to be any bolts. These guys used double sided tape. When I go back to complain, I want to have a little ammunition.

They just straightened out dents on both fenders.I've tried attaching the passenger side sidemarker but there doesn't seem to be any way to make it snap into place. The other one is damaged and needs to be replaced.I think I'll take it to another shop and see what they say.I was just trying to get some kind of answer yesterday (Sunday) when everything was closed. Thanks!
