1989 ka-e 240sx coupe sudden power drop at 5000rpm's on 3rd gear

i have this 240sx that just wont get over 5000rpm's on 3rd and 4th gear and on 5th gear it wont get over 3500 on a good day it would get over 4000's but no higher please help ?
