1989 D21 KA24DE swap

Hello, I am currently rebuilding a ka24de with intentions of putting it in my 89 Hardbody. Its out of a 1993 ( so i was told by the guy i got it off of). I have a few things for the swap so far; the engine, 5 speed from a 240, a CAN/AM ratson wiring box, harness and ecu from the engine. im curious if anyone has info or a link on the wiring setup. Ive heard of needing to splice into my hb harness and run both harnesses and ecus, I have heard just the 240 stuff and ive heard just the hb stuff, nothing certain and never a complete thread on saying one way works and another doesnt. I picked up the CAN/AM wiring box in hopes to make it easier but im still confused what harness ill end up wiring into it. Thank you to who ever has info and shares.
