1989 240SX Wiring Question

I recently purchased a 1989 240sx hatchback that is in desperate need of an engine, i am leaning on the lines for now of putting a DOHC KA in it, because there is little sence in rebuilding the less powerfull less reliable SOHC unit that is in it now, but I am not sure how well that engine will match up? I know that the power steering is on the wrong side as well as the AC system, but what I dont know is if the Wiring Harness will match up to the new engine. Does anyone know, or have done this conversion before?

ive done the swap a few times and the SOHC harness is not the same as the DOHC harness. you will need:

DOHC engine (SOHC transmission will botl up)DOHC ECU and harnessDOHC pwr steering lines

you wont be able to use your stock A/C system unless you have some custom lines made. all in all, it really isnt worth teh hassle. just yank the system.
