1989 240sx s13 automatic OD problem

my 89 s13 hatch wont go into OD...I accidentally blew a fuse messing with the gauge cluster lights now the car wont shift into OD...I checked all fuses I checked the OD button and the Light...all work as advertised...any help?

For electrical problems, you need to run the A/T controller diagnostic test; the procedure can be found in the FSM.

Any time you're planning to fool around with electrical components, ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE BATTERY!!

Several things to check:- TPS and it's harness connector pins- possiblr damage to the inhibitor switch- possible damage to the overdrive switch- possible damage to shift solenoid valve A

thank you very much...and i know about the battery thing...but I was trouble shooting the gauge cluster and I thought it was just bulbs...then boom!
