I have a freshly rebuilt KA24e, venom stock injectors, legal intake and exhaust system. The engine runs good when sitting, when I drive it doesn't have any pedal response, especially up any hill, almost no power at all. Smell raw gas at the exhaust when idling. Tried putting back in the old injectors w/no change. I hate to see my 240 just sitting!! Please help if you can Note: timing is dead on, tried changing temp sensor, fuel regulator.

When you say timing is dead on do you mean at the distributor or at the chain? The first time I assembled my engine it idled, ran, and timed at the distributor. But it never felt right. I removed the valve cover reset the timing marks and found my chain was off by a link.Just a suggestion, but double check the obvious first.

I took off the valve cover, spun it until I got the timing marks to match, the top key was pointing up, the bottom lined up with the tdc mark on the pulley, and the timing marks appear to be correct....the dist is just past #1 terminal post on cap.....it appears to be exactly as my old motor as well.

so far i have:::: checked TPS-good, MAF-good, temp sensor-good, fuel regulator bad, replaced, but pressure still seems higher than spec. 37psi at idle???Removed Cat, reset ecu, switched AAC valve.....Still no power under load
