1989 240sx oil pan

i recently took the head off my 1989 nissan 240sx ka24e, i had to rebuild the top end beacuse of valve problem, in the process i dropped a wrench into where the timing chain goes. i assume it went to the oil pan because i cannot see it or get it with a telescopic magnet so i need to know exactly how to get the oil pan off...

Unfortunately you will need to remove the cross-memeber and/or raise the engine to have enough clearance to drop the pan.
