1989 240SX KA24E Hatch - Brakes drag?

Every now and again my brakes will squeel while I am driving, if I tap the brakes, the noise ceases, but it is becoming annoying..

Any ideas what can cause this?

Yeah, the pad not releasing from the rotor all the way. Put some brake quiet grease or spray between the pad/shims and the caliper. Also, make sure the slide pins are greased.

I tried the brake quiet stuff, and it worked for the first 6 or so brakes, but just made the squeel worse...

Any more ideas?

Did you grease the slide pins? And, did you use a spray or grease type brake quiet?

Hey,It was a spray, silver stuff...

I didnt grease the pins yet,I am trying to figure out where they are.. I will consult my book tomorrow and see what I can do :-)
