1989 240sx ka24de swap blowing ign/alt fuse

Ok everytime I try to start the car it wont turn over and after maybe 10 or so tries the fuse blows. I had the same problem before but it was because the neg. for the alternator was on the starter. It was working fine until we took the head off to be machined because of a warped head and blown head gasket. I even had it running, it was just spewwing water. Now that all that is done and installed its blowing fuses again. Can anyone help me. I'm sure this has already been asked before but I might have missed it when skimming through the pages. Thanks in advance for any help.

You have pinched a wire somewhere. or at the back of the valve cover the wiring harness has worn through and is touching the bolt under the harness.
