Hello, Im new to the site so I would like to take the time right now and say hey. You guys really got it goin here which is sweet.

Well anyways I just bought a 1989 240sx, auto, silver

Its my first import vechile I have ever bought.

I am loving the fact that the car is straight piped so it is loud. People know when I have come.

If you guys have any ideas that I can do to the car for cheap to boast performance let me know!

Welcome to 240sx world. Whats the mileage on the car? I would do a compresion test, and see what you got.If you wanna cheap out, Sr20det then. Otherwise, I would swap out for a Ka24de-T, don't forget to get all the supporting mods before boosting.There is a lot of info here on Ka-t section, so just spend some time and dive in.

Cheapest to boast performance is to gut the car (lose weight).

Other than that you have to pay to play.

Do not gut your interior, it sounds like this is a daily and you will hate your car if you do this, plus that doesnt make that much of a difference. If so jus go to the gym and drop 15lbs.

Ok me being dumb I cant figure out how to upload pics on to the website.

The car has 350,000 kms on it. Which is alright I suppose considering I paid pennies for the car at an auction sale.

I wont gut the car. weight isnt something I am worried about. Moving from a full size pickup to this car, I think the car is light enough lol.

If you want to post pictures here copy the photo code it gives you like 3 or 4 I always copy the bottom one and paste it in the reply box here. Hope this helps man!
