I tried taking my starter off today but it didn't seem to want to come off (wouldn't even budge) . I took off the bolts connecting the Starter to the transmission, I only found 2, is there another one??

Also the reason why I'm taking it off is because my car won't start, it started as a whine (you know when your trying to start your car but it won't go kind of whine?) then it went slower and slower until now there is NO whining just a clicking... So I'm guessing it's the Starter...

Anyway can anybody help me out?

There is only 2 bolts. So get a pry bar and pry it off. It will come off.

Did you try jump starting it? Or charging the battery?

Wiggling the starter off helps. There isnt really a need for a prybar. If you can take off 2 bolts that hold it, you should be able to take it off. Just remember to remove the plugs and lines with nuts on it.

No I didn't, I didn't anybody to help me with that, but as far as I know the battery is fine (as far as I know). I'll see if I can get to off in the next couple days, maybe put some oil on it to help loosen it...

Thanks
