Alright, I am suspecting as part of my hesitation problem, is maybe bad gas.. When I am low it stutters and hesitates, but when I have a good full tank, then it only stutters when COLD...

I wanted to wait until my tank was near empty, take it out, replace the fuel filter, replace the injectors, and clean out the gas tank, maybe even replace a few tubes (Or, could I send somthing through the system to clean it out? How?)

Does anyone have a few pictures on how to do this, aswell as gas disposal places in Charleston SC or surrounding areas?

Thanks in advance,Josh

Oh, I checked at a shop, they said they would charge 300 or more just to take the gas tank off...

u can just pull the fuel pump from the access panel in the trunk... so no need to drop the tank...

just need to have a siphon/pump type extractor to get rid of the bad gas...

most likely need a new o-ring for the access panel--> from a stealership or a dealer-nico sponsor

Awesome, But what if there are particles floating in there?

Would it be better to drop the tank and force some good gas through the system?

Thanks

<shrugs> i guess...

keep in mind, u & I got 17 year old straps & rusted on bolts holding the gas tank up, so prepare for that extra expense if you cross that road.

u gotta pull the fuel pump off anyways thru the access cover in the trunk... new o-ring-->check!

mebbe when you see the fuel sock/strainer @ the end of the fuel pump, that may have to be replaced as well...

Oh wow, heh, I hadnt thought of that..

I am getting my radiator replaced tomorrow, with a flush of the coolant system..

When I get my injectors in, I may do that though..

Thanks, do you have any pictures by the way?

Josh

ooh, the cooling system; B 100% sure that you've burped the system of all air... search on that too...

yup, after replacing fuel filter & seeing if the strainer/fuel screen/sock is crap-free... you'll be ok...

u can just pump out the bad gas, put some solvent in the tank... swish it around w/ a broomstick.. pump that shizzle out... replace the pump w/ new 0-ring seal... filler up & X yo fingers.

PS: i did have a few pix on the gallery section, but i think they're currently revamping the system it's just a stock daily driver w/ a roof rack anyways

Hey, I am paying to have the radiator done :-(

But, The gas thing shouldnt be too difficult since you relieve fuel pressure when you change the filter and gas up so...
