I was checking the grounds for my MAFS and ran into something interesting.

Car off DVOM probe in MAF harness and other end to chassis I get .8 ohms

Car on Same probe postions and I get 3.8-5 ohms

Is it normal for the impedence to rise when the car is on?

The ground goes through the ECM. yes this is normal. To accuratly test your ground circuit use the voltage setting on your meter, turn the car on,with the maf plugged in back probe the ground wire and see how many volts it reads should be less then.2v if not you need to loosen ,clean and resecure your ground. Recheck it. If still high run an aux parellel ground to the intake manifold.

Thanks that helped! Didn't fix the problems I am having but it did make the car run smoother.
