1989 240SX electrical problems

I searched, and didn't find this particular problem anywhere. My popup headlights got stuck in the up position and neither the off-on or the up-down switch had any affect. Then the other night I accidently hit the four way emergency flasher, and the headlights went down. I hit it again, and the headlights went back up, but now the flashers stay on. Anybody else had these kinds of problems?

wtf? you most likely have a short.Check your fuses.

my 89 had the same problem recently after i bought it and i thought it was the motors so i had them checked, it wasn't so i went after the switch, inside the cover for the steering column on the headlight switch i found a plug that had come loose i pluged it in and the lights went down, they still wont go up when i turn them on but if i hit the up down sitch they will go up and they go down after i turn off the lights
