'89 240 with 20k on reman. short block. Car is bone stock. Dealer replaced many parts and is now saying is the ecu. Problem: on start up car will idle up to 1600 rpm then drop quickly and die. Restarts fine. Problem is annoying. Perfect except for this problem. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Anyone know of reputable place to have my own ecu rebuilt and returned? I'm told ecu is under passenger kick panel. All vacuum lines have also been replaced. Thanks

ECU is in the passenger kick. if you want a good one i actually have one on my '90 parts car pm me. As far as rebuilding not sure who does it. I've always just bought used ones.
