My HUD never worked really well in winter - seemed like it would come on after it got warmed up a bit. A few weeks ago it went off and never came back on (week after I posted it for sale!!!). I took it apart and tried to heat up the capacitor - it didnt work. I bought a whold inst. cluster from a guy who said it worked - get it all plugged in and no green 0 - the RPM gauge was moving around so I know the cluster is somewhat good. If I push the button to turn it on/off I DO hear a "click" of some sort which I do NOT hear with my old/dead one - is their anything else I can check?ThanksRoss

the wiring that runs behind the dash. The harness disconnects about half way so check there.

yeah ive looked their to see.. But beacuse it slowly died it makes me think its not just a loose/disconnected cable - is their a speed sensor near the transmission I can check - does it have anything to do with it?
