1989 240sx chassis wiring harness problems

Well i bought a shell that i planned to use for my rb20det swap. Well i was trying to figure out the wiring for my gauge cluster only to realize there arent any of the plugs there. Add to that my m53 chassis harness to ecu doesnt have a plug. My dash appears to be pretty much gutted. I guess my question is where should i go from here? Am i better off just using what is left to keep the car up and running and go aftermarket for gauges(water temp, oil temp, voltage)? Or would i be better off to try and find or pull a chassis harness and go from there?
