Okay, so I'm driving home from work yesterday and as I was turning left I noticed that my left turn signal was blinking extraordinarily fast. While I was sitting at the stop light, I kept switching my blinker on and off and checking the right side blinker as well.

The issue I am having is that my right side blinker is blinking at the "normal" pace it has been blinking at for the 4+ years I have had this car. Just yesterday did the left side blinker start blinking at the "faster" pace.

Now, yes I realize that this does not inhibit or affect my performance in any way. But, it really bugs me to hear the blinker blinking that quickly while I'm driving. I also don't like the fact that the two blinker speeds are different, the symetry is blown.

So, is this issue really worth trying to fix, or should I just accept the annoyance of hearing the blinker click really fast?

Check all of your blinker bulbs. A faster blink is an indication of a bulb being blown.
