Ok so i just bought another 1989 240sx but the previous owner changed the way the drive belts were set up. So i need to know the factory settings. Pictures will help. If anyone knows as to why the fan stays on all the time then that will help too. I hate sounding like an airplane coming down the street.

They aren't serpentine,so it's pretty straight forward and I don't know how somebody could re-route these belts.

Inner belt-dampner, tensioner, ac compressor

Middle belt-alternator, water pump/fan clutch, dampner

Outer belt-p/s pump, tensioner, dampner

The fan clutch will always be spinning, that's the point of the fan "clutch". If it's making a lot of noise on acceleration, you're fan clutch is probably bad and constantly locked.
