its silvia, not sylvia. Check the classifieds. Theres no cutting or welding involved, its all bolt on. Id learn to spell if you want people to take you seriously.

There are write ups in the Tech section on swapping to a manual transmission, and engines for sale in classifieds. Do your homework :-D

Otherwise I've got a lot of blinker fluid and headlight grease I'll sell ya - real cheap!

obviously you haven't checked out the sticky up top in this section of Nico. I suggest you do that and get familiar with that before getting up to your eyeballs in a project you might not complete.

just did a a/t to m/t swap rather simple just need all the right tools. parts needed are as follows:1. manual transmission driveshaft2. manual transmission (maybe upgrade depends on ur budget)3. manual transmission crossmembersince transmission is out might as well replace flywheel and clutch.4. flywheel(upgrade if you want)5. Clutch(go with the clutch kit stage two if you have mods on the car)6. clutch slave Cylinder7. clucth master Cylinder8. clutch line9. clutch pedal( break and gas pedal not needed but if you want you can obtain it. brake pedal can just be cut and grinded down. gas pedal is basicly the same as the auto.10. pilot bushing(since your already down there might as well replace pilot bushing.not needed but.....)11.throw out bearing(same reason, why not since your already their????)12. shift boot, and o rings on top and under the boot.(reuce noise coming from engine and seals off outside from inside of your car)All i can think of right now if i forgot anything just add to list. If DIY i recommend searching all related threads to gain the knowledge and have a heads up before going up the car. good luck and i would like to see pictures of the swap.

So are you saying you want to put a ka24de in it and do a manual swap? You already have a ka24 in your car now. Its just if you want to upgrade to a DOHC. I personally did a auto to manual swap while I was doing the SOHC to DOHC swap. I have a 90. Just make sure you have all the tools, space and time to do it. Read up. I read hours apon hours before I did it. Just research! Oh and make sure you have all your parts before under going the swap...unless you have another car to drive.
