1989 240 w/ DOHC power steering lines & SR pump connect?

I have a 1989 240 that I swapped in the power steering lines and reservoir from a DOHC and I need to connect to the SR. Looks like I need to extend the harness lines from the right to the left side. Then do I just mount the line onto the SR pump? It fits but it's kind of at a weird angle.

I wouldnt waste my time with the wiring, but the SR pump should fit the DOHC KA lines. It will bend properly, thats why it is a softline.

So I shouldn't bother trying to connect the power steering harness? It would take about a 3 foot extension.
