i have a great idea, DRIVE IT AND FIND OUT.

OR: theres a search button on the right-hand side. freaking use that and look up some $hit. also, if you knew you had a KA24, look up some basic info on an awesome site called GOOGLE. some minor research would show you that the KA is a low-revving torque monster, but i wont even go there since you probably dont know what displacement is...

Welcome to NICO btw... We're not all useless toolbags like the ***hole that just posted. Basically you've got a longer than average stroke for a I-4 and a half counterweighted crankshaft, so stock KA's really don't like the revs too much. There have been a few heavily built dual cam KA's that push 7500-8K but thats about the extreme limit from what I've seen. Here's a good thread to start your searching with, enjoy the forums!

Like SX Appeal said, they don't like the high revs too much, but it all depends how well the motor's built. I know when my KA was stock it hated anything past six, but who knows, every car is different, and it all depends on how you drive it, and how well you drive it, and most importantly, how good of shape the motor's in. Welcome to the forums man. Remember the search button, it'll help out a lot with any question you may have! Good luck!
